Ever Pharma launches D-mine micro infusion pump for Parkinsons

ever-pharma-d-mineEver Pharma today announced that it launched its D-mine portable micro infusion pump for Parkinson’s disease.

The device recently received CE Mark approval in Europe and is now being rolled out in several European countries, according to the company. D-mine is designed to give users precise continuous subcutaneous drug delivery for Parkinson’s patients.

“CE approval of the D-mine Pump and the launch is an important milestone for our product portfolio in Parkinson’s disease. Ever Pharma is now able to deliver an enhanced and comprehensive package of care with its Parkinson’s disease medication Apomorphine and its own medical devices,” head of dopaminergic therapy Dominic Benning said in a press release.

D-mine uses a special micro-rotary pump technology and minimal buttons with a menu screen interface to give users with Parkinson’s automatic and continuous drug delivery. It features automatic drug filling, multiple languages and data storage and doesn’t require complex flow rate calculations.

“With the development of the Ever Pharma D-mine Pump for Parkinson’s therapy, we have realized a very ambitious project with challenging requirements.
