Insulet (Nasdaq:PODD) announced that it named Lisa Blair Davis as its new SVP and chief human resources officer.

She joins the automated insulin delivery technology maker from Johnson & Johnson. There, she most recently served as VP of global human resources for Johnson & Johnson MedTech.

SVP and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Trang Ly, spoke to Drug Delivery Business News at ADA. Read more about that and other top stories at the American Diabetes Association’s 85th Scientific Sessions.

In a post on LinkedIn, the company said it’s “thrilled” to welcome Lisa Blair Davis as SVP and chief human resources officer. Her track record includes building high-performing, diverse teams. Additionally, the company said she drove business performance through strategic talent management over 23 years at J&J.

“Insult’s mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes deeply resonates with me, and I’m honored to be part of a company that leads with purpose, innovation, and heart,” she said. “Driving Insulet’s growth and amplifying its impact starts with our people. “That’s why I’m focused on elevating the employee experience, strengthening leadership development and advancing our talent strategy so it empowers both our mission and our momentum.”

This appointment comes a few months after another big hire from J&J MedTech. Insulet named Ashley McEvoy as president and CEO in May.
