The company said it delivered a presentation at DDG 2026 in Berlin and was included in Germany’s statutory health insurance medical aids directory for reimbursement purposes. An upcoming German launch expands the company’s presence in Europe with the high-capacity insulin pump option.
Medtrum introduced its 300U pump in December 2025. It delivers fewer reservoir changes and longer wear times with fewer interruptions. The pump has no tubes, meaning less hassle, and up to three days of steady, reliable delivery.
China-based Medtrum’s TouchCare Nano automated insulin delivery (AID) system also features Auto Meal Handling, a solution for simplifying mealtime. Instead of calculating carbohydrates, users can log their meal. The AID system responds dynamically to the logging, adjusting insulin delivery based on real-time glucose trends. Other notable AID systems, including the MiniMed 780G and Flex, feature similar Meal Detection Technology.
Medtrum offers its technologies in more than 50 countries and regions. TouchCare received European approval in 2024.
