Eitan Medical launches cloud-based infusion management platform

July 12, 2023 By Sean Whooley

Eitan Medical Eitan InsightsDrug delivery technology developer Eitan Medical announced today that it launched the Eitan Insights cloud-based infusion management system.

Netanya, Israel-based Eitan Medical designed Eitan Insights to meet the unique needs of at-home and specialty infusions. The company’s infusion systems, Sapphire, and Avoset, connect and transmit infusion data to the platform. Sapphire now features a plug-and-play cellular accessory, Sapphire Connect, while Avoset has the AvosetGo app accompanying it.

Eitan also received the “Best New Technology Solution — Drug Delivery” award for Eitan Insights from MedTech Breakthrough. The company said it recognizes the platform for allowing clinicians to view near-real-time infusion data. These capabilities can support remote troubleshooting and support accurate documentation.

The software platform provides prescription compliance data and pump geolocation. This enables home infusion providers to optimize resources and reduce hospital readmissions. Eitan said this all improves both the patient and caregiver experience.

“We are honored that our device platform and its accompanying technology has been designated as the Best New Technology Solution in the 2023 MedTech Breakthrough Awards Program,” said Eitan Medical CEO Shaul Eitan. “This confirms that Eitan Medical is set for sustainable growth with a focus on a strong innovation roadmap that will redefine the drug delivery market. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of healthcare technology.”
