9am.health partners with Ascensia to add blood glucose meter to diabetes toolkit

9am.health ascensia diabetes care9am.health announced today that it now offers the Ascensia Diabetes Care Contour Next One and Contour Next products in its diabetes kit.

Patients with type 2 diabetes and prediabetes can now add Ascensia’s Contour Next One blood glucose meter and Contour Next glucose test strips to a personalized treatment plan as part of the all-in-one virtual diabetes care offering from San Diego-based 9am.health.

The meter will be offered free of charge to all patient care plans, while the test strip add-on is available through a monthly or quarterly subscription alongside the existing plan, according to a news release. Patients can further supplement their plan with a one-time order of a lancing device and lancets.

9am.health’s diabetes toolkit offers blood glucose testing at $15 per month with online ordering and subscriptions to save patients the time and hassle of obtaining and reordering supplies.
