In this role, Panos takes responsibility for the Acton, Massachusetts-based automated insulin delivery system developer’s global commercial organization. He reports to President and CEO Ashley McEvoy and serves on the executive leadership team.
Panos brings 30 years of commercial leadership experience in the medtech sector. Most recently, he served as leader, sales excellence at orthopedic giant Stryker.
Over three decades at Stryker, Panos held multiple leadership roles. Those included president of the Trauma and Extremities Division and the president of North America and Global R&D. Insulet said Panos brings a track record of building and scaling world-class sales organizations, driving market expansion and delivering growth.
At Insulet, the company expects Panos to drive commercial strategy and execution across geographies. He will expand market access and strengthen capabilities to support continued growth and reach. That includes expanding into new patient populations and care settings.
Panos marks the latest executive appointment at Insulet, which continues to round out its leadership team under McEvoy, who took over the corner office in April 2025. Those moves included the promotion of Eric Benjamin to the role of chief operating officer (COO) and the naming of Manoj Raghunandanan as chief growth officer in August 2025.
Insulet also appointed Flavia Pease to succeed Ana Maria Chadwick as EVP and CFO in September 2025. The company then added Cristal Downing to its newly created position of chief corporate affairs officer in December 2025.
