The Tyler, Texas-based company — formerly NanoVibronix — said the OTC syringes aim to meet both feeding and medication delivery needs.
NanoVibronix said last year that it was shifting its focus to ENvue and its feeding tube technology after it acquired ENvue Medical. The FDA-cleared, commercially available feeding tube placement system provides real-time anatomical navigation to guide enteral tube placements.
Now, ENvue said it expects to make its new syringes available through online retailers like Amazon. It also plans to launch them through the durable medical equipment (DME) supplier channels. The company expects to launch them in 2.5 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL and 60 mL sizes without hte need for prescription.
ENFit syringes are designed for reuse for up to seven days or 20 uses. They aim to help support safe and consistent enteral delivery in both clinical and home care environments.
