
Huffines, a former global chair of investment banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co., joins the automated insulin delivery technology maker’s board effective Oct. 31, 2025. He joins as an independent director and a member of the Insulet Audit Committee.

Huffines joined J.P. Morgan in 1992 in the firm’s M&A group, focusing on the healthcare industry. From 2002 to 2010, he served as co-head of its global healthcare investment banking group. For nearly a decade, Huffines then served as JPMorgan Chase’s vice chair of investment banking until 2020.
From 2020 to 2024, Huffines held the post of chair of investment banking and served as a member of the executive committee. Prior to his time at J.P. Morgan, he worked at Alex Brown & Sons. There, he specialized in equity financing and advisory assignments for emerging growth companies.
Additionally, Huffines and his wife, Lisa Huffines, founded The Forest Group, Inc. The not-for-profit organization focuses on improving mental health for children in underserved communities.
Currently, Huffines also serves on the boards at Nextech Invest, Eikon Therapeutics and the Hastings Center for Biomedical Ethics. He also served as a director of Walgreens Boots Alliance until its sale in August 2025.
