What has changed in the last year as diabetes technology developers continue to innovate and advance their offerings?

We are seeing the industry form an intriguing niche at the intersection of medtech and consumer devices. Various companies around the world are delivering numerous options when it comes to the type of technology they want to use. Personalization, miniaturization and more are at the forefront of innovation in the space, and the past year has seen significant efforts to enhance these life-saving technologies even more.

Last year was the first year that Drug Delivery Business News published a list of the world’s largest diabetes tech companies, compiling the list based on revenues in August 2024. Once again, we’ve ranked the space’s biggest companies — with the list adding a new name this year — and there’s plenty more to enjoy.

(Download our free report to get a company-by-company breakdown of the financials, tech platforms, latest developments, and more shaping the next era of diabetes tech. We also have similar lists, like the Medical Design & Outsourcing Big 100 — which features several of these companies and has a new version coming in a few weeks — and MassDevice’s 10 largest orthopedic device companies, as well.)

Here are the 10 largest diabetes tech companies in the world:
