Diabeloop looks to enter U.S. marketDiabeloop logo - large

Diabeloop launched its automated insulin delivery (AID) system throughout Europe earlier this year, with its interoperable controller designed for use in combination with the Dexcom G6 CGM and Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump. It will soon be available with ViCentra’s patch-like Kaleido pump.

In September, the Paris-based company confirmed its aim to build upon its commercialization efforts by entering into the U.S. market with a team established to support future FDA applications.

The company was also invited into the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) corporate advisory program, increasing access to diabetes leaders and offering strong relationships with other diabetes partners in the U.S. Diabeloop co-CEO Marc Julien said the company believes that working with U.S.-based physicians, patient organizations and partners is key to penetrating the market.
