DarioHealth launches Dario blood glucose monitor on Amazon

February 20, 2018 By Fink Densford

Dario Health

DarioHealth (NSDQ:DRIO) said today it launched its Dario blood glucose monitoring system on the Amazon marketplace, touting that the system has already been sold through the site.

The company’s blood glucose monitor, which syncs with Dario’s diabetes management app, connects via a headphone jack to a mobile device, helping diabetes patients monitor their blood glucose throughout the day. The app also records carbohydrate intake, insulin use and physical activity.

DarioHealth said that distribution on Amazon provides the company with additional purchasing and shipping options and that all fulfillment of its products are being managed through Amazon.

“At DarioHealth, we continuously look for opportunities to enhance our customer experience. By launching on Amazon, we are able to gain brand visibility, awareness, and trust, as Amazon is one of the preeminent sites for online shopping. Our accurate, all-in-one blood glucose monitoring system is now available to order on their purchasing platform, which should appeal to Amazon Prime customers. DarioHealth’s game plan for being on Amazon is to reach thousands of more users via the world’s largest eCommerce retailer platform,” chair & CEO Erez Raphaelsaid in a press release.

Earlier this month, DarioHealth said it partnered with the Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultants of Pennsylvania to bring its blood glucose monitoring system to the 5,000-patient facility.
